Madagascar is often referred to as the Big Red Island. It is big because it is the fifth biggest island in the world with its total area of 587,040 square kilometers. It is a red island because of its fertile red soils that make Madagascar known for its agriculture.

This place above in the picture is the Baobab Alley in Morondava, situated in the South and it is very popular among tourists for its beautiful sunsets and the unique looking trees called Baobab that form the alley.
I think you would really enjoy it too if you got the chance to be there. But that's okay!
